We are fortunate to have a community of volunteers who donate their time and talent to Oconomowoc Silver Streak. Their efforts are vital to the success of our mission. As dispatchers, they are the first representatives our clients meet in the process of reserving a ride over the phone. They also assist with other administrative tasks. What a wonderful opportunity to reach out to area seniors and disabled adults!
Additional participants are always needed. Volunteer dispatchers are asked to perform two hour shifts Monday through Friday. No ride? No Problem! We provide complimentary transportation to and from our office located in Wilkinson Manor. Please call Betty for more information:

In addition to Betty and Roger, Oconomowoc Silver Streak is staffed by our part-time drivers. In Oconomowoc, there is no bus or taxi service and these ladies and gentlemen are filling that need for our ambulatory seniors 60+ and ambulatory disabled adults. You've probably seen them around town. Our drivers provide over 10,000 rides each year!
Give them a wave if you see them!
As part of her legacy, Alice Kozlowski, a former volunteer dispatcher, will continue to support Oconomowoc Silver Streak through a very generous endowment with the Oconomowoc Area Foundation. We are truly grateful for Alice's commitment to the community she loved. The Oconomowoc Area Foundation is a supporting foundation of the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, a family of more than 1,100 individual charitable funds, each created by donors to serve the charitable causes of their choice.
